Curious and entertaining, as well as brave and protective, Tollip epitomises the qualities of a good friend.

In his younger years, Tollip was a king, but he was usurped by his sister in the aftermath of the hundred-year war against the sea turtles, a conflict that ended decidedly in their favor. His sister seized the opportunity to claim the realm when he was preoccupied with signing a peace treaty. It's a memory he would rather consign to oblivion.

These days, he leads a tranquil life in the house of the Sea Witch, serving as the best friend to Beth, the mermaid. Together, they pass their time hosting dinner parties, maintaining cleanliness, and on occasion, saving the world. It's a fitting life for a sea horse — one that Tollip savors thoroughly.
