Hello I’m Max!

Max is a tiny seahorse with enormous plans. He wants to win the biggest races, lead the greatest adventures and prove that he really is Max the Great.

But Max is beginning to discover that being great is not always about being the fastest, strongest or most impressive. Sometimes it means stopping to help, noticing what somebody else needs or choosing the little thing that feels right.

His home:
The colourful coral reef

My Friends:

Pip the Porcupinefish

Pip is Max’s round, cheerful and endlessly supportive best friend. He becomes so excited that he sometimes puffs into a ball, which makes hiding his feelings almost impossible.

Pip believes in Max, but he is also practical enough to question his more dramatic plans. He notices the small things others miss, collects rubbish that does not belong in the sea and stays behind whenever a friend has not yet made it home.

Fabian the Silver Fish

Fabian is sleek, speedy and rather too proud of both facts. He enjoys showing off and initially believes that being the fastest swimmer makes him the greatest fish in the reef.

Nib the Crab

Nib is a tiny hermit crab with strong opinions about homes. After losing her shell, she is forced to squeeze into a squeaky bottle cap, which she firmly insists is only temporary.

Nib has no interest in the biggest, brightest or sparkliest shell in the sea. She wants one that does not wobble, pinch, roll downhill or smell of cabbage.

She is blunt, practical and knows that the greatest home is simply the one that fits you.
